I am working on a series of small art pieces, 4" x 6" each. However, I don't plan to make them into post cards... strictly for mounting and framing, I think. Anyway, I posted a picture a few days ago of them, but they still needed embellishing. I have the 3 below pretty much completed, with 5 to go. Here's how they are shaping up so far:
I added beads and/or sequins to each of them over where I couched the yarn or ribbon. I also added silk ribbon around the edge of the last one. I'm thinking of mounting 2 together on mat board, then using a glass/front frame to finish the composition. Time to run to Michaels, but I'm probably not going to have time until after Christmas... drat! Oh well, something to look forward to!
