Clouds

Like most of the country, we have had a little weather over the past day or so. Yesterday morning, when it began to get light, I took some pictures of the clouds and sunrise:

Above, the wind did a good job of tossing the clouds around

If you look closely at the segment of blue sky here, you will see a sliver of moon

Above, looking northwest, the sunrise is adding a nice tinge of color to the clouds

Later in the day we had snow, but the clouds and sunrise were more newsworthy! I feel very fortunate to live in an area where I can go outside at sunrise and get a clear shot of some really spectacular views! Enjoy...

Halloween Sunrise

There are mornings when I should just stand out on the deck, camera at the ready, to capture yet another spectacular sunrise... this was one of those mornings! But I did manage to get a few shots in...

I'm a sucker for sunrises with puffy clouds to capture the wonderful colors!

Our fabulous views never cease to amaze and delight me! Recently, I looked out the back door just before sunrise, and this is what I saw:

Then this morning, I glanced out the dining room window toward the peaks, and immediately ran for the camera and sped out the front door to get this shot:

This scene only lasted a few moments while the sun climbed from the horizon to hide behind the eastern clouds. Meanwhile, I was getting rained on, but I couldn't resist! Great way to start the morning, huh?
