Update on the latest project

I have been working off and on the past few days on my canyon piece, which I blogged about recently. I am really pleased with how it's coming out so far. The stitching emphasizes the erosion patterns on the sandstone, which is one of the features I love about the canyons. I am also beginning to see the light pattern that comes from above. I have a feeling I will be doing more of these as time passes, although I had a couple other 'Rock' pieces I wanted to tackle after finishing this one. We'll see... anyway, here are some pix of my progress:
